Day 1

Arrival in Nairobi – Nairobi City Experience

Arrive in Nairobi and meet your safari representative at the airport or your hotel. Depending on arrival time, explore Nairobi National Park, the Giraffe Centre or the Nairobi National Museum, or enjoy a relaxed city experience. Nairobi provides an easy introduction to Kenya before the safari begins.

Day 2

Nairobi to Masai Mara via Great Rift Valley

After breakfast depart Nairobi and travel towards the Masai Mara. Stop at a Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic scenery before continuing towards the Mara region. After lunch and check in at your accommodation, enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other plains wildlife before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 3

Full-Day Masai Mara Safari

Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve. Start with an early morning game drive when wildlife is particularly active, followed by breakfast and further exploration across the reserve. Possible sightings include lions leopards cheetahs elephants buffaloes giraffes zebras wildebeest and antelopes. Optional activities subject to availability and additional cost include a Maasai cultural visit or a hot air balloon safari.

Day 4

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast check out and travel towards Lake Nakuru National Park through Kenyas scenic Rift Valley. After lunch and check in at your Lake Nakuru accommodation, enjoy an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is known for wildlife and birdlife and provides opportunities to see black and white rhinos Rothschilds giraffes buffaloes zebras and other species.

Day 5

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast continue to Lake Naivasha. Enjoy a relaxed boat safari on the freshwater lake looking for hippos and waterbirds while taking in surrounding Rift Valley scenery. An optional Crescent Island walking safari can be arranged subject to local conditions and availability. Spend the evening at your lakeside accommodation.

Day 6

Lake Naivasha to Nairobi

After breakfast depart Lake Naivasha for Nairobi. Depending on your flight schedule enjoy lunch shopping or a short Nairobi activity before transferring to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for departure.

The Kenya safari ends in Nairobi.
Meals include breakfast.
